CANCELLATION POLICY
Franklin Swim School 
Once your lessons are booked, each student's lesson time has been secured in our schedule and is not offered to anyone else. Due to this and our effort to teach as many individuals to swim as possible, we require a 24-hour written notice for cancellations to the Franklin Swim School Director. Upon receiving this notice, the Franklin Swim School Director will work with you to reschedule the lesson. No refunds will be provided, only rescheduled lessons. If there is less than 24 hours notice, the lesson will be considered “lost,” and no makeup lesson will be provided.
LIABILILITY WAIVER

By registering my child(ren) with the Franklin Swim School operated by Franklin Regional Swim Team, I agree to participate (or allow my child(ren) and family members to participate) in the Franklin Swim School, and hereby release Franklin Swim School & Franklin Regional Swim Team, its directors, officers, agents, coaches, and employees from liability for any injury that might occur to myself (or to my child(ren) and family members) while participating in the Franklin Swim School program, including travel to and from training sessions, swim meets, team travel events, or other scheduled team activities.

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the above mentioned organizations and/or individuals, their agents and/or employees, against any and all liability for personal injury, including injuries resulting in death to me, my child(ren) and/or other family members, or damage to my property, the property to my child(ren) and/or other family members, or both, while I (or my child(ren) or family members) participating in the Franklin Swim School program.

PHOTOGRAPHY POLICY
Franklin Swim School 


By agreeing to participate in Franklin Swim School, your consent is assumed to allow action shots/videos of your child to be taken for use on the Franklin Swim School Website, newspaper articles, and other promotional materials unless specifically withdrawn. Consent can be withdrawn in writing to the Franklin Swim School Director.

To the best of our ability, all photographs must observe generally accepted standards of decency in particular:

  • Action shots should be a celebration of the sporting activity and not a sexualized image in a sporting context.
  • Action shots should not be taken or retained where the photograph reveals a torn or displaced swimsuit.
  • Photographs should not be taken from behind swimming blocks at the start of a race or exhibit a child climbing out of the swimming pool.
  • Photographs should not be taken in locker‐rooms or bathrooms.

If you take videos or pictures of your athletes and would like to share them with us for use in promoting our program, we would love to have them. Please send them to the Franklin Swim School Director via email.
